Also: You should begin reading assignment 2 from the Homework Assignments document link below.

Assignment Priorities for Spring Break:
First Priority: Mindwalk - Research, Pondering, Recording your ideas and contributions for group work when we return.  This must be typed up - double spaced.  Make an extra copy to turn in the 1st day back from Spring break.  Due 1st day back from break!
Second Priority:  Take home Exams - you should be working on both.  #1) Essay Part #2) Objective.  Please type up questions asked on the essay before your answer is recorded.  These will be due after we finish with the pre-Socratic philosophers.  You will have at least 1 weekend after returning from break to finish them.
Third Priority: Reading - 1) Make sure you download and read the poem by Parmenides from the "Interesting Links" link above.  (Look under "electronic texts.") This was part of Assignment #1 as listed in the homework document at the link below.  2) You should also begin the 2nd reading assignment in the Text.  This is listed on the homework document at the link below for "homework assignments."  You should make sure to read the excerpt from the Republic on page 376 and following.
